Is my company eligible for the UK PayPal Partner Programme?

The UK PayPal Partner Programme is for partners who have merchants that transact business in the United Kingdom and The Republic of Ireland. There are two types of PayPal partners:

  • Solutions Partners   Offer PayPal payments as an integrated part of their commerce solution.
  • Agency and Development Partners   Agencies, or commerce enablers, these partners use their technical and professional expertise to implement PayPal payments into a commerce solution for their merchants.

How do I apply for the UK PayPal Partner Programme?

You can apply for the UK Partner Programme online. It takes just a few minutes to complete the form and accept the UK PayPal Partner Programme Agreement. Within 10 business days you will receive an email letting you know if you have been approved for the programme.

What PayPal products can I integrate?

There are a variety of PayPal products that you can integrate. Once you are accepted into the Partner Programme, a PayPal partner manager will contact you to discuss which PayPal products best fit your needs. What marketing tools are available to partners?

The UK Partner Portal provides partners with PayPal Partner logos, customisable templates, landing page guidelines, best practice guides and sales trainings. All partners are entitled to a listing in the PayPal Partner Directory which allows merchants to learn more about their company, products, services and PayPal offerings. The directory's advanced search capabilities will enable merchants to find partners that meet their specific business needs. Plus, the directory has been SEO optimized to increase traffic and give partners the advantage of the search equity of the PayPal brand.

Gold level partners get an expanded PayPal Partner Directory profile and are eligible for additional partnership marketing opportunities.

Do I get an account manager?

All Gold partners will get an assigned account manager so they have one point of contact for all partnership needs.

Solutions Partners get a unique tracking code once accepted in the programme. They must include that tracking code in integration so that it passes whenever a merchant they refer processes a transaction. This code is very important because it allows PayPal to track a partner's volume and know when they have grown into the next membership level of the partner programme.

Do I need to sign up for the UK Programme if I'm in another region's programme?

Yes, each region has its own programme because there are slight differences to serve regional needs. Sign up in order to get access to the UK PayPal Partner Portal and to receive UK partner communications.
